Dear Educator,

As we approach Gimmel Tammuz, we are excited to once again offer our ‘Dor Hashvi’i’ school curriculum. The curriculum was originally produced in connection with Gimmel Tammuz twenty-five years, and was used by schools around the world. The material saw much success and left both teachers and students inspired and more prepared to approach the day. 

One teacher said, "This new curriculum really brings concepts that I always want to teach in a very clear way!"

Although the school year is almost over, and it's an especially hectic time for teachers and principals, and you may have taught this curriculum in the past, we feel that it is imperative for every student to learn about and strengthen their Hiskashrus as we near now thirty years since Gimmel Tammuz.

The two-week program that will teach the students the role of the Nosi Hador throughout history and the mission that the Rebbe tasked every one of us in Dor Hashvi’i, is titled:

דור השביעי - Our Rebbe. Our Mission. 

Each week will cover one of the above topics, and will include a 45 minute lesson to be taught at the beginning that consists of:

• Detailed Teacher’s Guide

• Animated Video

• Interactive Activity

• Short Video Clips of the Rebbe speaking about the topic

• PowerPoint Presentation to accompany the lesson

For each of the following days of the week there will be a short 5-8 minute follow-up lesson to continue expounding on that week’s topic and different "Missions" for students to do in relation to the lesson. (Of course, it can be adapted to be taught as seen fit by your school.)

It is our fervent hope that the curriculum will deepen our children’s connection with the Rebbe and that we will be zoche to see the Rebbe with the geulah b'korov mamash,
